I am not registered how do I do this?
If you are not already registered with us please click 'Register' to fill out an application form. You will also find lots of information on the website about your housing options and advice and assistance that you may find useful. Once you have registered you will be able to log in with the email and password that you used to register with.
Locata Home – Sign in for the first time
The Locata Home website requires you to sign in with your email address and password that is unique to you. Please use the email address and password that you used when you completed your application form. If you have forgotten this then you will need to select Already registered without a password?' from the sign in page.
I am already registered, what do I do?
If you are already registered with Locata Home and you usually use your Lin number and date of birth to log in you will need to provide your email address and create a password to access your account to bid on properties from now on. We have provided a guide below for existing members:.
- On the website click Sign in to access your account
- Select 'Already registered without a password'
- Fill in your partner/Lin number/and Date of Birth and press 'Continue'
- You will then be asked to enter your email address and then press Continue - You will then receive a pop up box to say that an email has been sent to you. (Enter the email address that we send your correspondence to, this should be the one you entered when you applied to join Locata Home. If you do not know your email address please call your local area for assistance.) Allow at least 30 minutes for this email to arrive. if this is not in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder before calling us
- When you receive the email click on the blue link which opens up a box called Reset Password - Enter your chosen password and Retype your password for confirmation
- Click Reset Password to continue. Choose a password that is easy to remember but hard to guess
- You have now set up your email and password so you can go to the Sign in tab at the top right of the page and sign in..
I have forgotten my password
- If you have forgotten your password you can reset it by selecting the 'Forgotten your password' link on the Sign in page.
- Select Forgotten your password link
- Complete your email address and select 'Send email'
- A pop up message will appear to say that you will receive an email. Allow at least 30 minutes for this email to arrive. if this is not in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder before calling us
- When you receive the email click on the blue link which opens up a box Reset Password - Enter your chosen password and Retype your password for confirmation
- Click Reset Password to continue. A message will appear to say that your password has been reset so just click OK
